Stage 02
Stakeholder engagement
No mission succeeds without ground control.
What this looks like:
A plan built without real input from the people it affects doesn’t get very far off the pad. I design and run engagement processes that bring the right voices into the room, early enough to matter, so the outcome actually reflects the community it’s meant to serve.
Step 1
Stakeholder mapping
Identifying who has a stake in the outcome, residents, staff, funders, government partners, advocacy groups and understanding what each group needs in order to trust the process.
Step 2
Engagement strategy
Designing the right mix of consultation: public input sessions, surveys, focus groups, or ongoing touchpoints, matched to the scale and sensitivity of the project.
Step 3
Facilitation & follow-through
Running the engagement itself, and just as important, closing the loop. Showing people what was heard, what changed because of it, and what didn’t and why.
Step 4
Reporting & communication
Translating engagement input into something decision-makers can act on, and communicating outcomes back to the community in language they understand.
Why it matters?
Engagement done badly is worse than no engagement at all — it tells people their input doesn’t count. Done well, it builds the trust that makes a plan sustainable long after the launch.
